Our approach reflects the values of our principals and their long involvement in investor advocacy.
We are committed to bringing you details of failed companies and actual developments with such companies.
We provide all historical changes of company name and the real reasons for the delisting of all companies from the New Zealand Stock Exchange. In conjunction with our sister site, InvestoGain NZ, we also seek to provide a seamless connection between past and present and the information you need to help you avoid failure in future.
We do not provide financial services or products in New Zealand, nor do we render investment, legal or taxation advice.
New Zealand has not been a good place to invest. A recent report by Morningstar which looked at the investment conditions for managed fund investors around the world rated each country on a scale of A to F and unfortunately NZ got a D-. The Financial Times reports that "New Zealand was found to be the bottom of the class" and the report also said "NZ scored the worst overall largely because of low grades in the area of disclosure for prospectuses and shareholder reports".
Suffice to say, our own focus is on proper market disclosure and transparency. Get that right and confidence in New Zealand's capital markets should be restored. With confidence will come investment (domestic in particular) and economic development.
Our vision is for a market place where investors are properly informed and well-equiped to compare the merits of financial products and services and make objective choices.
